Перший роман Ressurection, Inc. Кевін Джей Андерсон видав, коли йому 25 років. Написав низку романів на основі саги «Зоряні війни», які теж одразу стали бестселерами. Також варто звернути увагу на його романи у всесвіті «Секретні матеріали».

Спільно з Браяном Гербертом Кевін Джей Андерсон створив півтора десятка романів у всесвіті «Дюна».

Крім того, письменник працює над власною великою серією The Saga of Seven Suns.
