Японська ілюстраторка та художниця коміксів, відома роботою над серією «Монстриця», яка завоювала премію Г'юго.

Народилась в Нііґаті, зараз живе у Токіо.

У 20 років почала працювати дизайнеркою 3D CGI для Sega, створюючи зображення футболістів та баскетболістів NBA. У 25 років перейшла на фриланс.

Невдовзі почала працювати над декількома проєктами для Marvel Comics, серед яких X-Men, «Веном», Civil War II and «Міз Марвел». У 2010 почала співпрацювати з Марджорі Лю (комікс X-23), а у 2013 вони стартували з «Монстрицею».
